I've looked at the typical Christian behavior, and then I've also looked at their responses, and this is when I became suspicious. When I asked too many questions when I was much younger, I was told that God was beyond our understanding and reasoning. That, or I was referred to a long book in the bible that didn't even come close to an answer. Tired of such a standard response, I did my own study.
I was familiar with google, so I used it. Before I knew it, I arrived at evil-bible.com and a few other sites, that gave light to some passages I never suspected the bible had contained. This motivated me to do my own bible study, and I have found more and more of some evils of the bible. Before I knew it, I was no more a Christian, but an atheist (and now a theist.)
Call it crazy, but I don't support a God who approves of killing, slavery (technically there was no Hebrew word for slave, but the definition fits), kills his own people, sends people to hell, etc. I have my own morales too, hehe.
I believe that the internet may not kill orthodox religions but it will certainly smash a nail into the coffin. If I had access to something like the internet as a teenager I would've broken away from Christianity while still young. The best I could do back then is buy and read books - expensive and really slow.
